After the first court and then the Supreme court found that Jon Husted's attempts to stop early voting in Ohio would disenfranchise voters, Husted continues on his relentless mission to suppress votes. After being forced to let the people of Ohio vote early as they have in previous elections, Husted then reduced the number of hours on the early voting days that they could vote. As we all look at the long lines in Florida and Ohio where voters are waiting anywhere from 4-7 hours, there is absolutely NO reason why Husted (the Attorney General of Ohio) no less would want to reduce the number of hours for voters except to suppress votes.
Rick Scott of Florida, just as shameful as Husted actually locked the doors on voters who had waited close to 7 hours to vote. They had to get a court order to extend the voting hours. Recent reports on current TV said that Scott is allowing extended voting hours in one county in Florida that just so happens to be a republican county. This is unheard of.
The republicans attempts to block and suppress votes should be investigated. There is no way any governor or Attorney General of any state OR ANYONE should have this much say so and power on how much access we have to voting based on their own political bias.
