During the Tuesday night debate Mitt Romney caught in yet another lie stated that when he first became governor of Massachusetts he saw that his cabinet had no women and the he began to seek out women and from his efforts they came up with a "binder full of women".
The FACT is a group of women known as Massgap prior to the election, not knowing whether a democrat or republican would get in, addressed the problems of only a few women being in seniior leadership positions in the state government. They did research and put together a "binder full of women" qualified for all different cabinet positions. THEY presented this binder to governor Romney when he was elected. It had nothing to do with governor Romney's efforts.
This group called Massgap has confirmed that Romney's statement during the debate is FALSE.
