ALL eyes on the republican controlled house.  John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Mitch McConnell and the entire GOP controlled house have a very simple yet defining decision to make within the next couple of weeks.  Will they stop the tax cuts for 98% of americans unless the wealthiest americans, who already own over 40% of the wealth in this country, get tax cuts too?

Remembering 2011 when the GOP controlled house held legislation hostage and stopped progress in this country for jobs, our debt ceiling and putting the economy in even more jeopardy ALL to keep tax cuts for the wealthiest americans.  Poll after poll continues to show that the majority of the american people want shared sacrifice.  Republicans continue one of their biggest deceptions about trickle down economics.  Relentlessly protecting the rich they continue to say that we must give the tax breaks to the rich and then it will trickle down to the middle class /poor.  A serious question that all americans should ask the republicans is why hasn't it worked after all of the tax cuts the rich received over the past 12 years?  Why did we end up in a recession headed for a depression?  The answer is because trickle down DOES NOT WORK.  Trickle down in just another republican trick.  It is a smoke screen to keep the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Its time the middle class and poor take a serious stand by speaking out in the LOUDEST way insisting that fighting for the wealthiest americans while stripping the middle class/poor of essential programs will NOT be tolerated.  Call, text, email  ALL of your representatives, congressmen, senators, governors and let them know that "we the people" are tired of being the sacraficial lambs and insist that the rich start paying their fair share.  The rich can certainly afford to pay a slightly higher tax rate especially considering the fact that they already own over 40% of the wealth in this country.  Trickle down economics HAS NOT and WILL NOT WORK.
