According to the Wall Street Journal recent report, Mitt Romney is squandering his candidacy. Romney told CBS news that he agrees with the supreme court ruling that the individual mandate is a tax. This was a direct contradiction to what Romney's own top campaign advisor, Eric Fehrnstrom said earlier (the same week). Fehrnstrom referred to the mandate as a penalty. Andrea Saul yet another Romney campaign spokeswomen also said that Romney "thinks the mandate is an unconstitutional penalty.
Republican representatives are running around trying to cover up the confusion, contradictions and incompetency within the Romney campaign using double talk that makes no sense at all. Mitt Romney's likability among americans was already in jeopardy because it is difficult to know just what exactly Romney stands for on numerous important issues because he is FOR and AGAINST them all on an alarming amount of videos. This has brought into serious question not only the competency of this candidate but also his inability to tell the truth or run this country.
In addition, ALL americans MUST remember that Romney will end medicare, doesn't want shared sacrifice and equal pay for women, outsourced our jobs to other countries, he is for the voter suppression laws that will block millions of votes in the 2012 election, will end Romney/Obamacare (ending health insurance for millions of children and people with pre-existing conditions), for vaginal probing of women, ending cancer screening for women under planned parenthood and continues to fight for no tax increases for the rich.
One must ask themselves if Romney can't even run a campaign without mass confusion and contradictions, how in Gods name can we expect him to run this country. Bill Clinton recently said that a Romney for President would be a calamity. Fact check after fact check have found very little truth in Romney's speeches on the campaign trail. Billionaires and millionaires supporting him at an alarming rate.
The REAL question is, are americans really willing to sink the ship just to destroy a very capable captain? Think long and hard america. We better get this one right. The health, safety and pursuit of happiness of ALL americans is at risk in this 2012 election.
